Musical Chairs: Tupac Hologram Causing a Rucus
At Coachella this year there was something that happened on stage when Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog where headlining the last day of the first weekend of the festival. The rap giants had on stage with them a walking, rapping hologram of the late great Tupac Shakur. It looked amazing and sounded just like… I personally think it’s amazing that they did this, although I think the amazement of it would be somewhat ruined or lessened if it were to be done more than once or with other artists, although I’m sure people who love Michael Jackson for example would probably pay to see it, as MJ fans are usually a bit crazy and would probably do that… (I was /am an MJ fan just not one of those psycho ones lol) … it’s very impressive technology though! But I think, like with a lot of things these days the more it’s spread around the more dependent people get on it… e.g. iPods and apps, everything’s starting to be technology based, which is good to a degree.. but the thing is we are so capable of inventing so many things that it makes one wonder will it ever end?… (probably not). But yes, if you were to have a hologram of a dead relative that would definitely be something that would be classed in my opinion as ‘too-far’. I can’t wait to see the coachella video in full, and with sound (my speakers don’t work :( )
